New house

We are officially moved! I am so happy to be out of our apartment and into a house that has some room. It's still a work in progress and looks like a construction site, but we're working little by little as we go. Thanks to everyone who helped us move last weekend...it was a BIG effort and we couldn't have done it without you guys (especially since I have Dr. Jason eyeing my every move and making sure I don't lift anything that even looks heavy). The cats took the move okay and are getting used to their surroundings.

We had an ultrasound last Friday (the 26th) and little Ella is growing and things are looking good. She weighed in at 2 pounds 11 ounces. I go back for an office visit and follow up tomorrow. And I'm finally starting to show and really gain some weight. I hit up Krispy Kreme last night around 9:00...bring on the cravings!

We have a theme picked out for Ella's room and have some colors narrowed down for the walls. Jason didn't want anything too "girly" so sorry to all of you who had pink and frilly in your minds (although I'll still take the stuff).

So far, we have three showers set up. Jason is getting his own shower at work (so sweet!) November 8th (I think). The big family/friend shower is Nov 10th from 1-3 and the church shower is Dec 2 (times to come later). We're registered at Target and Babies R Us and you can search for us online and find our registry there as well.

I hope to provide some pics of the house as soon as we're all settled in and decorated and once our computer is set up to upload pics. I hope to have all this done before the holidays and also before all the showers so we can start getting Ella's room ready. I will be SO happy when that's done!

In Memory of...

My grandmother, Ella Ross Webb, who passed away Thursday, August the 23rd. Her funeral was yesterday at New Hope and she was laid to rest in Paint Rock Valley. This is a great loss for our family. She was the glue that held us together and a wonderful, sweet woman. She, along with my grandpa, raised 8 kids, worked hard her whole life...sometimes even third shift, made the best (and quickest!) biscuits you've ever tasted, and had a wonderful faith and walk with the Lord. Her and I shared the same birthday, August 31st, and this year's will be bittersweet.

Please keep my family in your prayers as this is a tough time for us, even though we know she's in a better place and no longer suffering.

She will always been remembered...

Sorry we've been MIA!

After Tamara and Wes' big news (see post below), we had some big news ourselves! On May 9, 2007 we found out we were pregnant and expecting a new baby January 18, 2008. Of course we're excited and just overjoyed! I'll be posting a link to the baby's website (that's where I've been all these summer months) here. There's definitely alot more going on there than here and for all news baby, that's where you'll need to go.

We took a week off to the beach at the beginning of May and I'll be posting some pictures of that hopefully soon. Besides getting ready for a baby (which is a handful in itself), my workload has dramatically increased since I'm taking on another job here at work and we're also looking to buy a house and get moved in way before little Jackson or Ella's (yep-those are the names) arrival.

We've chosen Jackson Scott for a boy and Ella Grace for a girl. Both have family ties and we think they just sound nice. :) We've had these picked out for a couple of years now.

Besides getting geared up for football season, I don't think there's a lot in store for the Kendrick clan. We might make a trip to the mountains in September and then that'll be the last trip we take for awhile.

One last thing...ANOTHER big CONGRATS to expectant parents Shannon and Carrie! We can't wait to meet little Elliott this December!!!

Quick hello

Hi all,

Just a little update about us. I've recuped well from my laparoscopy a few weeks ago and we're moving on with a new game plan. :)

We're planning a long weekend to Florida this weekend and really looking forward to some much needed R&R. Of course, pictures will be following.

I wanted to say a big CONGRATS to new parents Tamara and Wes! Kaylynn was born Monday afternoon at 5:00 after a L-O-N-G 19 hour labor. I can't wait to see her and will be happy when you guys move up here. Huntsville's way cooler than Jacksonville. *wink*

We'll start house shopping again in the next few months since our lease is up in September. I can't wait to live in a house again so I can vacuum at midnight. LOL

Next Tuesday marks THREE years for us! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!

Sorry we haven't been on to give an update. Since Blogger switched over, I forgot my new screen name and password. But I have it now! ha ha! Things have been pretty quiet since Christmas. Nothing much going on until atleast Spring.

There's atleast something interesting in this post. I found an old floppy of some of our wedding snapshots and want to share them here. Some of them are blurry, but don't blame me....I didn't take them. Can you believe we're coming up on our 3rd anniversary this May??? Time does fly by.
