Hey there! So you guys desperately need a house update. So much has been going on and things are moving very quickly. In example, one week ago we still had just a foundation. Fast forward two days and you're talking a frame, including the interior walls, ceiling, and trusses. Fast forward a couple of more days (okay, I lost track!) and the roof has been prepared for shingles, the arched doorways have been started, and most of the fireplace has been inserted. When people say "It'll go fast once the foundation has been poured," believe them. Believe every word. I cannot wait to get in our new home. More importantly, we feel so overwhelmed still by God's love. He has always taken care of us, even when things have not been going so well. He has brought us so far in two years. There is no way to explain how we feel unless you've walked in our shoes. So, just take my word for it. :-)
A whole slew of beginning to now house pics are on Facebook. All of you who follow me here can see those on there. Can you tell I'm getting lazy with uploading pics? I did manage to find a picture of what the house will look like when it's completed. Of course, brick color will vary and maybe shutter color and maybe also the shaker color (above the garage). But, it'll give you a general idea.
