Oh...just some stuff

Just a note to keep Ella in your prayers. She has infections in both ears. They only seem to bother her when she eats (which is typical) and so far she's doing okay with the ear drops. She'll even take a teaspoon of Amoxicillin without much fighting. What a good girl. We're thankful her eye was watery and pink, otherwise we might not have taken her in and this would've not been found out probably until the infection was much worse. Oh...and she is up to 19 pounds. I can't wait until we reach more milestones...what a fun age.

Also, our housing situation will be changing within the next month. Our lease is up in October and we definitely don't want to continue living here, so we'll need your prayers for that as well.

The year anniversary of my Mawmaw's passing was this past Saturday. I chose not to remember her on that day and instead will remember her in better times, this Sunday on our shared birthday. It seems like longer than a year since I've seen her. I really miss her alot and it breaks my heart that Ella will never know the wonderful and sweet person that was her great grandma. I'm thankful God has granted me peace in knowing that she is in a better place and that I will get to see her one day and she can meet her great-granddaughter. I know she'll love her...she always loved babies.

We're pretty excited

We have officially been voted in as youth directors at our church! This is a HUGE responsibility and will be hard work to build up our youth program, but we are ready for the challenge and glad to have some help from Joey & Laurie. We all have so many ideas and things we'd like to accomplish...it's going to be fun! Pray that we can see this small youth group grow and that the Lord will bless us and give us guidance and leadership.

Here are some more recent pics (w/in the last month) of Miss Ella. She now has 2 teeth and is crawling "backwards"...scooting on her back. We count our blessings that we have such a healthy little one!
