I don't think I've ever blogged about this, yet it affects me daily. Ella is her Daddy in little girl form. Neither one of them are morning people. For me, being the only one in our house that is, it is completely frustrating. It seems like every morning is at snail speed. I dread what pre-school mornings will be like next January. But let's not talk about that until closer to time. I'm not ready to "deal" with it yet. My baby is still my baby! That's my mantra.
Since Ella is Miss Independent, I thought I would work with that. Today, I had an idea. I created a morning chart for her consisting of only pictures. She can color it and hang it up. The goal is for her to follow the morning chart and, hopefully, accomplish it on her own. Fingers crossed! If this doesn't work, I'll be heading to Facebook for ideas. I can't be the only one with a sleepy head in the mornings.
