Want to waste 25 bucks?

Then buy this garbage. Even though this DVD has been out since 2005, I just heard about it today. I did a Google search for something and their ad came up...I thought "The God Movie"...sounds interesting and found out something I wasn't expecting. In Memory Of

Jerry was a good co-worker of mine. He was a typical engineer: couldn't spell and had the worst handwriting. He loved to joke around and took care of his wife, Mrs. Frances, for many years. He will be greatly missed.

Jerry A. Lankford Died Sept. 6, 2008

He was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center.

Jerry retired after over 30 years with the U.S. Army Missile Command in Huntsville. During his career, he was on the shakedown cruise for the ARDEC program. He worked in the NIKE HERCULES project office as a project engineer for the HERCULES digital system. Until retirement, he worked on the ARDEC program for exploitation of foreign systems. After retirement, he continued to support the government defense programs work for the RTTC.

He devoted his time to organizing the Lankford Wildlife Federation, an organization for the preservation of wildlife. Jerry graduated from Hokes Bluff High School, where he was an All-County halfback on the football team. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and attached to the Communications and Crypto Machine teams. After service, he attended the University of Alabama, where he graduated as an electrical engineer.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Frances; two daughters, Kaye Lindsey and husband Rick of Madison, and Angela Wimberly and husband Tracy of Hampton Cove; two brothers, Thomas Lankford and wife Tan of Hokes Bluff, and Glenn Lankford and wife Sue of Hokes Bluff; grandchildren, Paige Wimberly, Trey Wimberly, and Nathan Lindsey; and special nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Marcus Long officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery with Berryhill Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society - Lung Cancer.
